 Do your horse a favor - BUY THIS BOOK! Jan 02, 2009
This is NOT your average horse training manual. I guarantee this book will not be relegated to becoming a doorstop or paperweight! I've had the opportunity to attend several training clinics with Linda Tellington-Jones and I was skeptical about buying the book because I thought it would be just another horse training book with lots of theory and no real-life examples. I was WRONG. This book is used almost daily in my home and it IS used every day I spend at the barn. YES, I have 2 copies of this book - one for home and one for my tack locker. That is how good this book is. When was the last time you bought TWO copies of a horse training book?
Tellington-Jones communicates her techniques and methodology clearly in 'The Ultimate Horse . . .' with step by step instructions, vibrant photographs, and real-life examples. Any horsewoman who reads and uses this book will become a more compassionate partner for her horse and any horse whose owner reads this book will benefit greatly. That goes DOUBLE for horseMEN!
If you think think you have a 'problem horse' - THINK AGAIN! Tellington-Jones' techniques empower any horse owner. In this book she provides usable tools to overcome virtually any 'issues' that you think your horse has and you can change your horse's behavior without beating it, running it ragged, or scaring it!!!! The TTouch book is an excellent reference manual for any horse owner whether into training, riding, or therapeutic use. This book is very detailed with excellent information.
Linda's most comprehensive book so far Sep 15, 2008
This is Linda's most comprehensive book so far. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves horses. It may seem a little overwhelming to the uninitiated, but is well worth the effort of sticking with it. Your horse(s) will thank you. It might be helpful to enlist the help of a TTEAM Practitioner or to attend any one of the clinics/trainings held worldwide or to practice with other people who are learning this method. It can be much more fun that way!

This book should be on the shelf of every caring & responsible horse owner. I will refer to it again & again, as it is chock full of invaluable information that I can use with my horses.
If You Could Own Only ONE Horse Book... Mar 20, 2008
If you could only buy one horse-related book in your whole LIFE - this is THE book! Not only is it NICE to look at, and a TREMENDOUS resource for an equestrian, but you can feel how much love went into it. Linda told us she and her editor have been working on this book for like 30 years - and this is the most comprehensive horse book I have EVER read.. and I've read my share!
